July 20

Theft: Trailers, log splitters and an electric push mower were stolen from outdoor displays at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave. The estimated value of the items was more than $16,000.

Theft: A 20-inch boy’s bicycle was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: Construction work was not competed at a home in the 5000 block of Baylor Avenue.

Theft: An 1,800-pound Hereford cow was reported stolen from a home in the 70 block of Omalia Drive.

Auto theft: A 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Nottingham Avenue.

Recovered property: An iPhone was recovered at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Burglary: Keys were taken at a home in the 4000 block of Nottingham Drive.

Criminal damaging: Four tires were slashed at a home in the 3000 block of Henricks Road.

July 21

Telecommunications harassment: There is a suspect in harassing calls being made to a home in the 4000 block of Heritage Drive.

Breaking and entering: A vent was pulled out and entry was gained at Youngstown Pre-Press, 3691 LeHarps Road.

July 22

Menacing: Threats were made to a person living at a home in the 200 block of Elvira Drive.

Disorderly conduct: Police arrested Daniel Parker, 35, of Westlake, on charges of criminal trespassing. They also issued him a summons for disorderly conduct at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Nicole Kingsley, 20, of Huntmere Avenue, on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation stemming from an original charge of domestic violence.

July 23

Aggravated menacing: A suspect brandished a firearm at a home in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle.

Bomb squad: Police arrested John Lynn,34, of Idlewood Road in the parking lot of Fox Run apartments. He was found to have a homemade explosive device in his car, along with four fireworks and a pocket knife. The bomb squad was called in to remove the device.

Theft: Two males took eight flat-screen televisions valued at a total of $1,499 from Kmart,4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Myrtriece Bulls, 18, of North Osborn Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of theft from Walmart,6001 Mahoning Ave.

July 24

Drug offense: Police arrested Jamie Risbeck, 38, of Madison Street, Salem, on charges of for possession of drug-abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine manufacturing materials. The items were found in the car he was driving.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Peter Pavlichich, 56, of Woodridge Drive, on a charge of theft. Police accused him of taking a high-voltage meter from a garage/yard sale at a home in the 4000 block of Maureen Drive.

Theft: A male suspect took a telephone case at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Timothy Brown, 43, of Lorain, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.

July 25

Burglary: An air compressor was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Warrant: Police arrested Mahala Wallace, 25, of Westminster Avenue, on a Columbiana County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

July 26

Theft: Police arrested Edwin Wyant, 48, of Churchill Ave., Girard, and Robert Buila, 37, of Ella St., Girard, on theft charges. Police accused them of taking a 32-inch LED television and a wall mount that was found in the back seat of their vehicle at Walmart. The items are valued at $297.96.

Recovered property: Items stolen by a 15-year-old juvenile at Walmart were returned.

Disorderly conduct: Police arrested Melissa Mauch, 46, of Fountain Square, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Theft: Checks were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Lake Road.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from a home in the 50 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Breaking and entering: An iPad, change and keys were stolen from Crossroads Church, 554 S. Meridian Road.

Animal complaint: A dog and a cat were abandoned in a residence in the 4000 block of Wedgewood Drive.

Theft: An iPhone was taken in the Wedgewood Plaza, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
