April 6

Theft: A male suspect borrowed $100 in a scam at a home in the 100 block of South Yorkshire Boulevard.

Theft: Medication was stolen at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Warrant: Martin Dyer, 54, of Maplecrest Drive, was arrested on a theft charge, in connection with the Austintown Fitch Hall of Fame Foundation.

Identity theft: Identity theft through the Internal Revenue Service was reported at a home in the 6000 block of Berry Blossom Drive.

Drug offense: Daniel Majinsky, 23, of Pine Trace was issued two summonses for possession of two bags of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: A purse and contents were stolen from an auto at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.

April 7

Drug offense: Jefferson Payne, 23, of Victoria St., was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Warrant: Andre Ballinger, 25, of W. Dewey Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for domestic violence.

Theft: A male suspect ran out with tools to a waiting gold Chrysler with temporary plates at Dry Wall Barn, 408 N. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: Damage to a Shawn’s Driving School vehicle occurred in the 400 block of Wilcox Road.

Theft: Two saws and a leaf blower were stolen at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Three male suspects ran off leaving merchandise they had taken at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated burglary: A male was assaulted by an ex-girlfriend at his home in the 4000 block of New Road, but nothing was taken.

Theft: A male suspect took a chain saw at Handyman Hardware,4351 Kirk Road, fleeing in a tan Chrysler Sebring.

April 8

Breaking and entering: A window was broken and cigarettes taken at the Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Jeremy Bell, 29, of Trotter Drive, Boardman, was arrested on a warrant for theft of more than $200 and breaking and entering at the Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Two all-terrain vehicles were stolen at a vacant industrial building property in the 6000 block of N. Meridian Road and later recovered on N. Princeton Avenue.

Theft: Three UPS packages were taken off of a porch at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Identity theft: A tax form was falsified with the IRS at a home in the 3000 block of Almerinda Drive.

Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at Dunkin Donuts, 1123 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Electronics and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 200 block of S. Edgehill Ave.

Identity theft: A tax return with the IRS was made out fraudulently at a home in the 20 block of Evans Avenue.

April 9

Counterfeit currency: A $50 counterfeit bill was passed at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.

Theft: A washer, dryer and tools were stolen from a home in the 100 block of DeHoff Drive.

April 10

Drug offense: Sean Smotrilla, 35, of Lexington Place, was issued a summons for drug abuse of marijuana.

Warrant: Jeffrey Gadison, 44, of Mill Run Drive, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Identity theft: Information was used to file a tax return at a home in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.

Domestic dispute: Deana Stewart, 47, of Ayrshire Drive, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Identity theft: A tax return was filed by suspects at a home in the 4000 block of Pine Trace.

Criminal trespass: Sean Hilbert, 23, of Canfield Road, Canfield was issued a summons for criminal trespassing at a property in the 300 block of Rosemont Ave.

April 11

Warrant: Alisa Morro, 37, of Pointview Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for theft, and issued a summons for possession of two bags of marijuana.

Warrant: Nicole Johnson, 34, of Clarendon Ave., Canton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of drug abuse instruments in Massillon Municipal Court.

Lost or stolen property: A dealer plate was lost or stolen at ABC Motor Credit, 4508 Mahoning Ave.

Lost or stolen: A wallet was reported lost or stolen at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: Peter Spare, 22, of Eleanor Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
